IT Systems Engineer II

Here’s what an IT Systems Engineer II does:

• Planning and implementation of complex customer projects and new client onboardings
• Development of project SOWs and detailed work plans for approved partner/customer projects
• Collaborate with Project Manager to provide customer project updates per the interval committed to the customer
• Work directly with 3rd party vendor support, when appropriate, to validate impacts or required changes to their services within the scope of the project
• Provide lead support for all project cool-down tickets during post-implementation cool-down period
• Actively participate in the internal and customer project close meeting review/performance evaluation
• Develop all required internal support documentation to ensure a successful transition to the support team
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects or project SOW development
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Willingness to work overtime, after-hours, and weekends as required by the task or project at hand

To be considered for the role of IT Systems Engineer II, a Bachelor or Associates degree in Business, Computer Science or Computer Information Systems is desired.

• Four to 12 (4-12) years of experience in a professional setting with a deep understanding of at least one of the following areas and a minimum of good experience in the others
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience
• Current Microsoft certification in server and/or MS 365 technologies required
• MS Azure Admin Associate preferred
• MS Windows Server Hybrid Advanced Services preferred
• MS 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert preferred
• Other network infrastructure hardware and software certs preferred
• Network + cert required
