IT Support Engineer II

Here's what an IT Support Engineer II does:

• Implements complex customer server and network projects
 
• Develops detailed work plans for partner/customer projects
 
• Provides advanced technical escalation support to team to resolve user PC, email, internet, and LAN access problems
 
• Resolves network performance issues by network monitoring and analysis, performance tuning, troubleshooting network problems and escalating to vendor.
 
• Advanced network routing, configuration and troubleshooting
 
• Prepares users and staff by designing and conducting training programs, providing references and support.
 
• Creates and manages MS365 Endpoint, Device, Application, and Compliance policies
 
• Performs advanced implementations of MS365 echo system (SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, etc)
 
• Creates and manages SSL certificates
 
• Manage User and Computer Objects in Azure AD

To be considered for the role of IT Support Engineer II, you'll need a relevant college, trade-school, or certification program.

• 5-10yrs of experience in PC repair/support, System Engineering, IT Administration role or similar preferred in a professional or educational setting
 
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience
 
• Current Microsoft certification in server and/or MS 365 technologies required
 
• Other network infrastructure hardware and software certs preferred

• Compensation: The compensation for this position is negotiable, and has typically been in the range of $38-$45/hr, and promotions typically occur after 2yrs+.
